Position: Senior HR Specialist (6-months contract)
Location: Orchard

Senior HR Specialist (6-months contract)

This role encompasses HR operations and payroll administration responsibilities, managing end-to-end employee lifecycle processes and ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing with full compliance to statutory requirements.

HR Operations
  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and offboarding
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems and personnel files
  • Prepare and administer employment contracts, letters, and HR documentation
  • Support implementation and upkeep of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local labor laws
  • Act as a point of contact for employees on HR-related queries (e.g., leave, benefits, policies)
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders for HR operational matters
  • Assist in HR reporting, audits, and data management
Payroll Administration
  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including salary, overtime, allowances, and deductions
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., CPF/EPF, tax, SOCSO, etc. where applicable)
  • Liaise with payroll vendors and/or internal finance team to ensure data accuracy and reconciliation
  • Handle payroll-related queries from employees and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Benefits & Compliance
  • Administer employee benefits programs (e.g., insurance, leave, flexi-benefits where applicable)
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and statutory requirements
  • Support audits and regulatory reporting where required
About You
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in HR operations and payroll
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and payroll regulations
  • Experience handling payroll independently (in-house or via vendor)
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
