Location: Orchard
Senior HR Specialist (6-months contract)
This role encompasses HR operations and payroll administration responsibilities, managing end-to-end employee lifecycle processes and ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing with full compliance to statutory requirements.
HR Operations- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and offboarding
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems and personnel files
- Prepare and administer employment contracts, letters, and HR documentation
- Support implementation and upkeep of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local labor laws
- Act as a point of contact for employees on HR-related queries (e.g., leave, benefits, policies)
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for HR operational matters
- Assist in HR reporting, audits, and data management
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including salary, overtime, allowances, and deductions
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., CPF/EPF, tax, SOCSO, etc. where applicable)
- Liaise with payroll vendors and/or internal finance team to ensure data accuracy and reconciliation
- Handle payroll-related queries from employees and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Administer employee benefits programs (e.g., insurance, leave, flexi-benefits where applicable)
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and statutory requirements
- Support audits and regulatory reporting where required
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in HR operations and payroll
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws and payroll regulations
- Experience handling payroll independently (in-house or via vendor)
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
