Job responsibilities
- Lead and ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT infrastructure and systems
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations and Dev Ops activities, ensuring operational stability and service reliability
- Manage incidents and outages, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures
- Establish and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes, including regular testing
- Plan and execute IT emergency response and business continuity initiatives
- Manage infrastructure budgets (OPEX/CAPEX) and prepare procurement justifications (PR/SP)
- Act as local license manager to ensure software compliance and governance adherence
- Lead infrastructure lifecycle activities including server migrations, upgrades, and consolidation
- Ensure timely patching, security remediation,and system performance optimization
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to support audits and enforce IT controls
- Oversee end-user infrastructure, including device lifecycle, hardware provisioning, and workplace technologies
- Drive infrastructure operations automation toimprove efficiency and scalability
- Engage with internal stakeholders and regional/global IT teams to align infrastructure with business needs
- Support planned shutdowns, system changes, and operational readiness activities
- Provide expertise in video conferencing (VC) technologies to ensure reliable collaboration services
Jobs requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or any other related field
- 5–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure or operations in a regional or multi-site environment
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure (WAN,LAN, VPN, firewalls) and system administration (Windows/Linux)
- Experience with Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, Exchange Online, collaboration tools)
- Proven experience in infrastructure projects(migrations, upgrades, consolidation)
- Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and infrastructure automation
- Strong understanding of IT security, patching,and compliance requirements
- Experience managing vendors, budgets(OPEX/CAPEX), and procurement processes
- Strong problem-solving, incident management, androot cause analysis (RCA) skills
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills with regional/global teams
- Knowledge of video conferencing (VC) and workplace technologies
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft,networking) are an advantage
