The service department of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen Vertrieb Deutschland GmbH makes a crucial contribution to the success of our customers. With comprehensive service services, spare parts, and consumables, we accompany our products throughout their entire life cycle. Your environment

Our Prinect products optimize and automate the workflow of our customers by fully integrating the traditionally separate areas of management, prepress, printing, and finishing. The Prinect portfolio covers the entire production process – from offer creation and prepress software to plate output and color management, to the control of the printing process and finishing.

The software service department is responsible for the support and maintenance of our Prinect workflow systems. To strengthen our team in the field and in the office, we are looking for you for deployment in Germany, with a focus on North Hesse, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia.

Your tasks

• Installation, configuration, and training of Prinect products at the customer site as well as remotely
• Technical consultation and support of our customers in close cooperation with service, development, and sales
• Support of the 1st-level application support for technical questions
• Project management with the following focuses:
• Analysis of the customer situation, estimation of the required resources and feasibility taking into account all determining factors
• Creation of training plans in coordination with customers and the project team
• Customer support before, during, and after the project phase

Your profile

• Completed training as a media designer, printing technician, master craftsman, and/or IT training or study of computer science/technology
• Relevant professional experience in a comparable position, ideally supplemented by business management knowledge
• Knowledge in the areas of Prinect, Microsoft, Apple, and general IT topics
• Experience with remote service tools and willingness to work with SAP processes
• Quick understanding, pronounced team skills, and high willingness to learn
• Structured, solution-oriented working method and strong customer orientation
• Confident, friendly demeanor and very good communication skills
• Independent, goal-oriented work, flexibility, and resilience
• Very good German language skills and good English language skills
