Delos Cloud Network Engineer

Your tasks will include:

• Administration and optimization of networks in a hyperscaler environment to ensure the highest efficiency and reliability
• Implementation and optimization of network automation with a focus on Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to capture requirements, design network architectures, and implement solutions that meet customer needs
• Troubleshooting complex network issues and ensuring high availability and performance of the network infrastructure
• Development and maintenance of technical documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures
• Collaboration with vendors and service providers to evaluate and implement new technologies and solutions

You should bring:

• At least 5 years of experience in network administration, preferably in the data center and WAN environment
• Proven experience with network operating systems from different vendors such as Junos-Evo, NXOS, IOS-XR, IOS-XE
• Solid understanding of network protocols like TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, VLANs, VxLAN/EVPN, VRF as well as routing, switching, DNS, and security principles
• Knowledge of one or more programming languages:
  Python, Perl for network automation
• Knowledge of network automation with Ansible, Git Hub, Terraform, and IPAM
• Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex network issues
• Very good knowledge of German and English
