Data Analyst, Data Engineering, Database Administrator

Job Title
Based at the Territorial Direction, on the site of Vaulx-en-Velin (69), you will be integrated into the Operational Support and Performance team and your main mission will be to contribute to the deployment and optimization of digital tools and operational databases.
You will actively participate in the improvement of the performance of operational sites by exploiting the data from our systems.
Main duties:
Deployment and consolidation of the databases of our internal tool VEOLINK:
- Set up new Veolink databases, a tool for visualization and supervision of incineration plants.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data in existing databases.
Creation of dashboards:
- Design interactive dashboards via Google Data Studio to visualize data from different Group databases.
- Provide decision-making tools to improve operational performance.
Support for digital business tools:
- Assist the Performance department in the deployment and support of digital tools used by operational sites.
- Accompany operational teams in the use of tools and interpretation of data.
QualificationsWe are looking for a generalist engineer in an internship, with a specialization in data or digital tools which would be a plus, mastering data visualization tools such as Google Looker Studio or Power BI, as well as databases and data management tools.
An interest or experience in the field of the environment and waste treatment would also be appreciated.
The ideal candidate shows rigor and a keen eye for detail, thus ensuring the reliability of the data handled.
Curious and comfortable on the ground, he/she understands the needs of the sites while maintaining a critical view of the information processed.
With an analytical mind, he/she is able to propose innovative solutions, while demonstrating good interpersonal skills and a real aptitude for teamwork.
