Looking for Qualified Interpreters! As a busy interpreting service provider, we are seeking to onboard hard‑working, fully‑bilingual foreign language interpreters to provide in‑person interpretation for our local Nebraska clients. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to use their cultural knowledge to help non‑English speakers in their area and enjoy great job satisfaction along with flexible hours.
We have an immediate need for Japanese interpreters in the Omaha area.
Requirements- Fully bilingual
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality / HIPPA compliance
- In‑person interpreters only; must have transportation to attend appointments locally
- Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)
- Must have access to a printer
- Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
- Background checks and drug screens required
- Schedule is PRN (as needed), part‑time (or less depending on languages spoken) and is flexible based on interpreter's availability and preferences. Applicants must have some availability M–F 7 AM–5 PM as this is when services are typically needed.
Independent contractor position: hours are not guaranteed and are based on availability, languages spoken, and client needs.
Proof of vaccination is required. Applicants must provide proof of vaccination as part of the hiring process.
