Family Support Specialist

Join our team and make a difference in the lives of local families!

As a Family Support Specialist with our Healthy Families program, you'll walk alongside parents during their child's earliest years—helping them build strong foundations for their family's future. Using the Healthy Families America model and Growing Great Kids curriculum, you'll provide in‑home visits that offer encouragement, education, and practical support for up to three years.

• Build trusting, long‑term relationships with families
• Coach parents to strengthen their home environment and support systems
• Provide developmental screenings and connect families with needed resources
• Help parents set goals and celebrate milestones
• Work closely with a supportive team through regular training and reflective supervision
• Spanish‑English bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse families

Compassionate, organized, and passionate about supporting families. Ability to travel, work evenings or weekends as needed. Preferred:
Spanish‑English bilingual.

Members may assist with communication in clinical settings, support interpretation for Spanish‑speaking clients, and help translate documents and educational materials.

Location:

Work in the office at 327 N 8th Avenue in Burwell and travel throughout the Loup Basin district to homes.

Hours:

Full‑time with flexibility to meet families where they are.
