FEED Technician - Gordon, Nebraska

Legacy Coop in Gordon, Nebraska is hiring a full-time feed technician to assist the warehouse manager in all assigned duties. This full‑time position includes Legacy Coop’s benefits package—retirement, 401(k), holiday, vacation, and sick time—along with competitive pay.

• Assists in greeting and helping customers in person and on the phone
• Assists in managing warehouse inventory
• Assists in receiving inventory
• Assists in keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and presentable for customers
• Runs forklift when needed to load/unload trailers
• Assists in working on special projects
• Performs all other duties as assigned

To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Required education and experience:

• High school diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Equipment maintenance, repair, troubleshooting
• Active learning, critical thinking, and reading comprehension
• Active listening and installation skills
• Equipment selection and maintenance
• Time management

The position requires regular hand use, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and occasional standing and walking. Employees may need to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally lift or move more than 75 pounds. Vision must be adequate for driving and passing a CDL, with adequate close, distance, and peripheral vision.

The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles. Noise levels are usually moderate.
