District Office - Business Manager

Pleasanton Public Schools is seeking a qualified and dependable individual to serve as the district’s Business Manager. This is a full-time, year-round, 40-hour-per-week position.

The Business Manager will oversee the district’s financial operations and work closely with the superintendent, district staff, Board of Education, vendors, and state agencies.

Responsibilities include processing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other office-related tasks.

• Degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate financial records
• Willingness to learn school finance requirements, reporting systems, and district procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with district staff, vendors, and state agencies
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet required deadlines
• Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and accuracy
• Desire to contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
