Position: Welder
Location: Kearney, NE
Pay: $19–$20/hour
Shift: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our client's team in Kearney, NE. This is a temp-to-perm position offering steady weekday hours and the opportunity to grow your career. The Welder will perform welding processes on production materials according to print specifications and company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform minor to advanced welding on galvanized or raw steel per print specifications.

• Operate flame-cutting equipment as needed.

• Select proper voltage, current, heat, gas and feed settings for each welding operation.

• Prepare for weld operations through proper machine and jig setups.

• Perform first piece approval inspections using quality control tools.

• Move material as needed using forklifts, overhead cranes or other material-handling methods.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year production welding experience required.

• Ability to read tape measures and blueprints.

• Knowledge of setting and adjusting weld machines.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Must follow safety procedures and properly use all provided safety equipment.
