Job Title: Fabrication Operator
Location: Holdrege, NE
Pay Rate: $17.50/hour to start (pay increase once hired on)
Shift: 1st;
Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:45 PM with overtime on Fridays

We are hiring a skilled and motivated Fabrication Operator for a 1st shift opportunity in Holdrege, NE. This position plays a key role in manufacturing metal components and assemblies used in industrial equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

• Operate fabrication equipment including lasers, tables, CNC machines, saws, press brakes and welding equipment

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders and production schedules

• Measure, cut, bend, drill and form metal parts to specifications

• Perform basic welding, grinding and finishing tasks as needed

• Inspect parts for quality, accuracy and compliance with specifications

• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers and tape measures

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workstation

• Report equipment issues, defects or material shortages to supervisors

• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals

• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to use a variety of hand and air tools

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Physical ability to stand and/or walk for a full 10-hour shift

• Ability to push, pull, bend, kneel, twist, crawl and reach throughout the shift

• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally

• Steel-toed boots required
