Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary

Manufacturing Engineer for a leading manufacturing organization based near Waverly, NE. This role is responsible to establish, maintain, and enhance the production equipment and processes with a focus on reducing downtime, improving quality, continuous improvement, and safety.

This is a direct hire opportunity. Relocation assistance is available.

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering is ideal)
• Must have at least three (3) years engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of automated assembly
• Hands‑on experience with lean manufacturing
• Proficiency in Pro‑E / CREO

• Develop & lead capital investment projects.
• Drive new equipment and product introduction through stage/phase gate processes
• Establish, maintain, and enhance the production equipment and processes with a focus on reducing downtime, improving quality, continuous improvement, and safety.
• Responsible for deploying Lean methodologies to improve safety, quality or productivity.
• Support a highly automated assembly line by problem solving, implementing improvement, and leading projects to completion.
