Job Title: Chemical Operator
Location: Genoa, NE
Pay: $21.00/hour
Shift: Full-Time Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Position OverviewWe are seeking a dependable Chemical Operator to support plant production by monitoring and maintaining the sand coating process to ensure it meets strict production specifications. This role is critical to maintaining product quality, safe operations and efficient plant performance.
Key Responsibilities- Collect process samples as directed to monitor production quality
- Clean mixers and handle resin‑coated sand and chemical waste
- Track waste generation and ensure proper disposal in dumpsters and drums
- Label and manage recovered materials and waste streams correctly
- Perform Rotex screen changes and clean process equipment as needed
- Grease and fuel mobile and stationary equipment as directed
- Unload, connect, disconnect, and move raw material totes and drums from incoming shipments
- Monitor process conditions and adjust based on quality control feedback
- Observe equipment performance and report operational issues
- Assist maintenance staff with repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
- Follow all safety policies and company quality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to wear required PPE including SCBA when necessary
- Experience operating skid steers, forklifts, bobcats or similar equipment preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal in English)
- Ability to work in a physically demanding and safety‑sensitive environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to obtain PCP Level 3 per Department of Labor standards
- No prior experience required; training provided
