Job Title: Quality Test Technician
Location: Holdrege, NE
Pay: $17.50/hour (increase upon hire-on)
Shift: 1st Shift - Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:45 PM
Overtime: Fridays as needed
Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Position Overview
We are hiring a detail-oriented Quality Test Technician to support production by ensuring finished products meet established quality standards. This role plays a key part in monitoring processes, identifying defects and helping drive continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily adherence to quality standards and procedures
- Perform audits of finished products
- Identify and investigate root causes of assembly defects
- Initiate and support corrective action processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
- Assist in maintaining and improving quality control processes
- Complete documentation and reports accurately
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Light to moderate physical activity
- Occasional lifting up to 25-50 pounds
- Frequent bending, reaching and movement throughout shift
- Ability to stand and/or move for 8-12 hour shifts
- Steel-toe boots required
- Manufacturing setting with generally good working conditions
- 4-day work week with overtime opportunities
