Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Holdrege, NE
Pay: $17.50/hour
Shift: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:45 PM
Overtime: Fridays as needed
Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Position Overview
We are hiring a Material Handler to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting materials throughout the facility while ensuring production lines stay supplied and organized.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Transport materials to designated areas within the facility
- Supply production lines with necessary materials
- Operate forklift and other material handling equipment
- Organize and maintain material storage areas
- Use basic computer systems to track materials and inventory
- Assist production teams as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
- Forklift experience preferred
- Basic computer skills required
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to stand and/or walk for 8-12 hour shifts
- Frequent bending, lifting, twisting, kneeling and reaching
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally
- Manufacturing/warehouse setting
- Steel-toe boots required
- Consistent 4-day work week with overtime opportunities
- Hands-on role supporting production operations
