Maintenance Generalist 2nd Shift - Tecumseh, NE

Job Details

Starting Pay: $22.50/hour (depending on level of experience).

Hours:

Monday–Friday 2:00pm–10:30pm (may change as needed).

• Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and make necessary corrections and adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist in equipment installation when required.
• Perform other duties within the Maintenance Department as assigned, including facility improvements.

• Ability to use hand tools and trade tools.
• Welding experience preferred but not required.
• Physical ability to lift at least 40–50lbs and stand throughout most of the shift.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent formal mechanic training preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work as a team member.
• Minimum 6‑month work history or participation in an industrial maintenance education program; maintenance experience preferred.
• Maximum of two previous Tyson employments acceptable; 90‑day waiting period applies.
