Rover Operator

Are you a meticulous and dependable team player with a passion for customer service? We invite you to join our KAAPA team as a Rover Operator at our Aurora location.

• Provide shift coverage when vacation, sick time, or time off is requested from operations
• Have a thorough knowledge of compliance programs: safety, PSM, environmental, FSMA, and product QA
• Maintain records and ensure Standard Operating Procedures are updated
• Other administration duties as directed by production manager
• Assist in coordination of plant shutdown and associated projects
• Provide area training and cross training with the operators
• Assist in new plant projects and modifications
• Focus on plant house cleaning projects and organization
• Possess a complete understanding of all the process equipment
• Make decisions in processing to ensure meeting product specifications

Rotating 12‑hour shifts line from operators and must have flexible schedules to work days or nights and cover scheduled/unscheduled time off.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license
• Problem solving
• Understanding of ethanol plant operations
• Self‑motivated
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to others and work well as a team
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills
