Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Machine Operator
Location: Wilcox Trailer Court
Position Summary
This position is responsible for industrial maintenance duties on equipment, machinery, building, and grounds. This work includes, but is not limited to, machine installation and construction, plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical work.
Essential Functions- Education: 2‑year technical degree in electrical field or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications:- Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Sound decision making skills.
- Good math, reading and writing skills.
- Be able to exercise continuous mental, visual, and audio attention.

Competencies:- Basic computer skills.
- Vision:
Near acuity and accommodation for reading information to perform job tasks. - Requires constant alertness to surroundings and product quality with attention to detail.
- Must be able to operate material handling equipment and hoist, if needed.
- Physical Requirements:
- Operate material handling equipment.
- Perform work in hot and cold temperatures.
- Includes outdoor work.
- Ability to work at heights above ground‑level.

Skills:
Ability to work well in a team environment. - Assessment: Must successfully complete pre‑employment screening.
- Report directly to Facilities Specialist.
- Work closely with other departments to resolve issues with the processes & equipment.
- High noise levels from operating machines and equipment.
- Physical hazards from operating machines and moving reels.
- May be exposed to nuisance fumes and dust.
