FSQA Technician 1st Shift

Job Summary

Join our team as a Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

• Perform physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems.
• Document and calculate results accurately.
• Take corrective action when necessary, such as alerting appropriate personnel to adjust processes, identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products, and reporting results to management.
• Handle additional assignments as requested.

This position works 1st shift. Pay is $27.40/hour and is paid weekly.

Normal for a food manufacturing setting.

• Lifting materials and products up to 75 pounds.
• Stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
• Work in cold/hot temperatures typically ranging from 30-90 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Work in a wet environment.
• Perform repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, pushing, and pulling.
• Reach high and low levels frequently.
• Climb step ladders and/or stairs.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 1 year in food manufacturing industry or related QA experience.

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  Skills:
  
  Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork; ability to lead by example, motivate the hourly workforce, and exercise problem identification and problem‑solving skills.
• Math and organizational skills.
• Read and interpret product specifications.
• Perform well under stress and have flexibility to work where and when needed.

Position requires Lock Out Tag Out certification.
