Machine Operator / Production Associate
Shifts Available: 1st & 3rd Shift
Pay: $22.55
Shift: Mon-Fri 7a-5p & overtime on Saturdays when needed.
Shift differential: .50 cents for going to 3rd after training is done on 1st shift.
Position SummarySeeking dependable and detail-oriented candidates to operate and monitor manufacturing machinery in a production environment. Candidates will be responsible for machine setup, production monitoring, quality inspections, and supporting maintenance efforts while following all safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare machines for production by completing tooling changes and machine parameter adjustments according to work orders.
- Monitor production processes and machine performance throughout production runs.
- Identify and address production deviations or machine issues promptly.
- Inspect finished products for defects and follow quality control procedures.
- Remove and properly document defective materials.
- Assist maintenance teams with machine inspections, preventative maintenance, and minimizing downtime.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all PPE, safety, and production requirements at all times.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Experience operating moderately complex machinery in a manufacturing setting.
- Good visual inspection skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift medium to heavy objects as needed.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Minimum of 1 year machine operating experience in manufacturing.
- Experience using power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Torque gun
