FAST Global Solutions is seeking a Welder for our Night shift in Falls City, NE.

Our Falls City night shift runs from 4 pm – 2:30 am, Monday through Thursday, with overtime on Friday as needed.

• Reads and interprets blueprints and machine drawings to determine specific welding requirements.
• Connects cables from the welding unit to obtain amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse, as specified by engineer.
• Manually guides electrode or gun along the weld line, maintaining arc length and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead.
• Welds in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Examines weld for bead size and other specifications.
• Repairs broken or cracked parts and fills holes.
• Positions and clamps work pieces together or assembles them in jig or fixtures.
• Selects torch, torch tip, filler, and flux according to welding chart specifications or type and thickness of material.
• Tacks assemblies together.
• Chips off excess weld, slag, and spatter.
• Cleans or de‑greases parts.
• Moves parts in and moves finished product out of the welding area.

• A qualified candidate will have a high school diploma, GED, or at least 1–3 months of related experience.
• Must have basic language and math skills and reasoning ability.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or Dynamics D365 is preferred.
• Must be able to stand continuously for a 10‑hour shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Vision with depth perception is required.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and levels of humidity.
• Personal protective equipment will be provided by FAST and must be worn in the required areas.
