Shredder Operations Technician

Incineration units are seeking a Shredder Operations Technician to perform hands‑on operations including shredder, pallet jack, tank farm operations, offloading vehicle and forklift operations. New wage $26.50 per hour DOE, paid weekly. 4×12‑hour rotating shifts per week (6 am‑6 pm / 6 pm‑6 am). Safety‑focused with a desire to advance in career.

• Ensures health and safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Performs basic operations including drum movement, drum opening, tank farm truck loading/unloading, operation of the shredder device, and proper inventory warehousing
• Operates a forklift when necessary and documents a daily safety check prior to operation
• Completes and submits all associated paperwork required for waste tracking movements and uses the scanning application for dumping and pumping
• Ensures work meets all applicable health and safety standard operating procedures
• Reviews all applicable SOPs and satisfactorily completes quizzes
• Ensures, understands, and owns area‑specific permit‑required compliance standards
• Meets or exceeds production goals

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a team environment
• DOT training
• Proficiency in Windows‑based applications
• Ability to climb on and off forklifts
• Ability to perform multiple tasks
• Lifting up to 50 lbs from the ground to your waste
• Climbing up and down vertical ladders
• Capability of reaching out, over, and down while exerting force
• 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected – depth perception is critical
• 10 push‑ups, deep knee squats, and sit‑ups to determine fitness
• Good hand/eye coordination
• Mechanically inclined
• Valid driver's license required
• Punctuality and attendance required
• Respirator fit test upon hire – clean shaven face required (mustache allowed)
• Background check, drug screen, and physical required
• Updated resume required
