Feed Prep Operation Technician – Clean Harbors, Kimball, NE

Incineration units are seeking a Feed Prep Operation Technician who performs hands‑on operations such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, and off‑loading vans with forklift and pallet jack operations. This job is 95% outdoors in adverse weather conditions. Wage $26.50 per hour.

The shift is rotating Days (6a‑6p) / Nights (6p‑6a), 4–12 hour shifts weekly.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure health and safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting safely at all times.
  • Perform basic operations including drum movement, drum opening, and proper inventory warehousing.
  • Operate a forklift when necessary, responsible for performing and documenting daily safety checks prior to operating.
  • Complete and submit all associated paperwork required for waste tracking movements.
  • Use scanning application for dumping and pumping.
  • Ensure that work meets all applicable health and safety standard operating procedures.
  • Review all applicable SOPs and satisfactorily complete quizzes.
  • Understand and own area‑specific permit compliance standards.
  • Meet or exceed production goals.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent – required.
  • Willing to train on forklift operation.
  • Capable of reaching out, over, and down, exerting a force.
  • Climb up and down vertical ladders.
  • Good hand/eye coordination.
  • 10 push‑ups, deep knee squats, and sit‑ups (to determine fitness).
  • 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected – depth perception is critical.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. from the ground to your waste.
  • DOT/OSHA training.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Windows‑based applications.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks.
  • Must be willing to work nights and weekends.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather.
  • Respirator fit test upon hire – clean‑shaven face required (mustache acceptable).
  • Successfully complete a background check, drug screen, and physical.
  • Valid driver’s license – required.
