SMT Operator
We are seeking a dedicated Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves working from 3:30 PM to 2 AM, Monday through Friday, with guaranteed 50-hour weeks and potential for overtime. As an SMT Operator, you will be responsible for operating machines that insert components onto circuit boards and auto solder them, with a strong understanding of surface mount technology.
Responsibilities- Set up, operate, and adjust SMT equipment for both automated and manual surface mount manufacturing.
- Monitor equipment and production processes to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Load programs and feeders, and perform necessary adjustments to ensure optimal component recognition and quality requirements.
- Ensure compliance with quality requirements and documentation.
- Maintain and monitor equipment to meet company standards.
- Possess a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job and work under close direction.
- For Master Operators, train SMT Operators and work independently within established procedures.
- Understanding of surface mount technology.
- Experience with solder paste deposition, including screen printing and stencil design.
- Knowledge of component placement systems and feeder optimization.
- Proficiency in thermal processing and reflow soldering.
- Ability to perform inspection and validation using AOI and X-ray inspection.
- Experience in test, rework, and repair processes.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience operating SMT machinery.
- 3-5 years of related experience for Master Operators.
- Proficiency in electronics and surface mount technology.

This is a Contract position based out of La Vista, NE.
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
