Feed Prep Operation Technician
Clean Harbors Kimball, NE NEW Incineration unit seeks a Feed Prep Operation Technician. The role performs hands‑on operations such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, and offloading vans with forklift and pallet jack operation. The position is 95% outside work in adverse weather conditions. Wage $26.50 per hour. The shift is rotating (6 a.m.–6 p.m./6 p.m.–6 a.m.) with 4–12 hour shifts weekly.

- Performs basic operations including drum movement, drum opening, and inventory warehousing.
- Operates a forklift when necessary and performs and documents daily safety check prior to operating.
- Completes and submits all paperwork required for waste tracking movements.
- Uses scanning application for dumping and pumping.
- Ensures work meets all applicable health and safety standard operating procedures.
- Reviews all applicable SOPs and satisfactorily completes quizzes.
- Owns area‑specific permit‑required compliance standards.
- Meets or exceeds production goals.
- Maintains a clean work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Willingness to train on forklift operation.
- Capable of reaching out, over, and down, exerting a force.
- Climbs up and down vertical ladders.
- Good hand/eye coordination.
- Able to perform 10 push‑ups, deep knee squats, and sit‑ups (fitness test).
- 20/20 eyesight, corrected or uncorrected; depth perception is critical.
- Can lift up to 50 lbs from ground to waste.
- DOT/OSHA training.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Windows‑based applications.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks.
- Willing to work nights and weekends.
- Able to work in adverse weather.
- Respirator fit test on hire; clean shaven face required (mustache allowed).
- Successful completion of background check, drug screen, and physical.
- Valid driver’s license (required).
