** Location Description*
* Michael Foods, Inc., located in Bloomfield, Nebraska, is one of our only cage free facilities. The facility is located three miles outside of Northeast Nebraska's busiest community. Bloomfield is a haven for those who prefer small-town life over city living and is located less than 30 miles from recreation areas where you can enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking and camping. Our location produces liquid egg product that is sent to our other facilities for further processing.

** Responsibilities*
* ** JOB SUMMARY**  **:*
* This position is responsible for operating the Shell Dryer and Membrane Separation along with cleaning and performing

** JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**  **:*
* 1. To make sure equipment is connected correctly.

2. General clean up (floors, walls, outside, equipment, etc.)

3. Responsible for keeping dryer running as efficiently as possible.

4. Keep machinery oiled, greased and as clean as possible.

5. Do minor repairs and help mechanics with major repairs.

6. Do safety checks on valves, gauges, electrical wiring, motors, belts, etc...

7. Report any major problems to supervisor.

8. Responsible for keeping records and charts.

9. Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.

10. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

11. Perform other duties as assigned.

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent.

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups, customers/vendors or employees of the organization.

** MATHEMATICAL

SKILLS:

* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and average and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form.
