Agronomy Production Supervisor

Country Partners Cooperative is a full-service diversified agricultural cooperative in central Nebraska located in 20 communities, partnering with farmers and ranchers to accomplish more together.

This position will be responsible for assisting the Location Manager with the effective management and coordination of the agronomy operations at the agronomy plant.

• Work with multiple locations in communication of application orders, batching orders, and ensuring trucks get loaded with correct product.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of material handling equipment.
• Consult with producers and make appropriate recommendations of crop nutrients, crop protection, seed, and precision ag.
• Communicate effectively.
• Organize tasks efficiently.
• Schedule and dispatch application equipment assigned to the location.
• Assist with managing the location’s inventory; work with the Location Manager on product inventory needs and space management.
• Maintain high level of customer service by operating the plant to meet demand needs.
• Operate the plant in accordance with the Cooperatives safety policies, maintenance program, and housekeeping standards.
• Perform regular inventories, verifying physical on‑hand against accounting system.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

• High school diploma or GED, or 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office programs;
  Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Ability to learn and use cooperatives agronomy software.
• Ability to use email, texting, and smartphone for communications.
• Commercial Driver’s License is recommended but not required.
