Work Hours & Pay

Pay: $18.60 per hour with $1.50 attendance bonus. 2nd shift receives a $2 shift differential.

Shift: 2nd Shift (3:30 pm - 12:00 am).

Hours:

Monday - Friday, occasional weekend work.

This position is responsible for trimming rejected product before and after going through the x-ray machine to meet Final Product Standards (FPS) requirements.

• Trim rejected product for FPS compliance.
• Follow procedures for salvage and reprocessing.
• Capture and record all required data.
• Other duties as assigned, including trayline traying and debone support as needed.

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to operate safely and effectively.
• Ability to work efficiently at a fast pace while operating a knife.
• Required to master knife skills.
• Ability to discern and pay attention to the quality of product.
• Must be able to work independently and make decisions.
• Willingness to function as part of a team and work toward team goals.
• Eagerness to learn new ideas.
• Preparedness to assist in other areas of production and work overtime as required.

• High School or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months of production experience preferred.

• Must be able to communicate effectively.

• Stand continuously (8+ hours).
• Grasp continuously (handling knife).
• Pull/Push frequently.
• Lift/Carry frequently (up to 10 lbs; occasionally up to 30-50 lbs).
• Bend, stoop, squats occasionally.
• Working around moving machinery, in a damp, slippery, and cold environment (below 40
  
  F).
• Occasionally reach above shoulder (up to 2 ft.).
• Occasionally climb 2 ft.
