Specialist; night shift

Position Overview

B shift: 6:20pm–6:30am. Perform operations maintaining product quality and production levels while working as a team member in a high‑speed manufacturing environment. The role requires safety compliance, equipment operation, and continuous improvement of processes.

• Perform operations to maintain product quality and production levels.
• Inspections and visual verification of raw materials, finished goods, and product packaging.
• Operate equipment, conduct process functions, and perform inspections and process tests.
• Monitor machine functions and detect conditions that deviate from control limits.
• Respond to and reset alarms as needed.
• Maintain equipment per preventive maintenance schedule, clean machines and immediate work area.
• Ensure compliance with embecta quality systems, policies, procedures, and safety regulations (local, state, federal).
• Maintain proper product work environment through effective communication with team members.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintain certification on assigned equipment.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Team Leader to support business needs.
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance.
• Remain alert and focused at all times.
• Obey all company policies, standards, and rules, including safety policies, LOTO, and embecta specifications.

• High School Diploma or GED (minimum).
• 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment or experience with BD or embecta (preferred).
• Read, write, and speak English.
• Basic computer keyboard and navigation skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• PCP Level=3.
