Hours:

Mon – Thurs; 5am‑3:30pm (schedule/hours may vary)

Responsible for operating conventional, special purpose, and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines safely to fabricate metallic parts to production and quality standards in an ISO
9001 environment.

• Operate machinery/process (manual, NC, CNC) in assigned work cell or area.
• Setup and operate all manual, NC, and CNC equipment/processes; validated by Machine Coordinator and Production Leadership.
• Work cross‑functionally between machines and cells.
• Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out‑of‑tolerance machining.
• Verify conformance of work pieces to specifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Confer with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining problems.
• Initiate and/or support process improvements and corresponding documentation.
• Train other team members in assigned operations as needed.
• Follow work instructions for each step of the process to meet acceptable production standards during and after training completion.
• Maintain hourly/daily activity records supporting quality production.
• Assure compliance with all safety, environmental, and health standards, procedures, and practices.

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Must “OWN SAFETY”.
• Experience using inspection gauges (e.g., calipers, micrometers, indicators, go‑no‑go gages, pin gages, dial indicators, height gage, depth gage, thread gage, bore gage, V‑blocks).
• Ability to read blueprints (title blocks, views, dimensioning, tolerancing, surface call‑outs, symbols, lines).
• Ability to use shop math (decimals, fraction conversion, metric/standard conversion, angle and offset calculations, addition/subtraction/multiplication/division).
• Proactive problem solver, willing to learn and accept challenges.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and push or pull parts or containers frequently.
• Ability to read and understand job instructions.
• Pass pre‑employment background check, essential functions assessment, and drug screen.
