The Development and Program Support Coordinator fosters community involvement and supports organizational growth through volunteer engagement, event coordination, and donor relations. This role assists in managing programs, gift shop operations and foundation activities while promoting a positive experience for employees, volunteers, and donors.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES- Adheres to Brodstone Healthcare’s Mission, Vision and Values.
- Adheres to Brodstone Healthcare’s Standards of Behavior.
- Promote internal volunteer program participation and engagement.
- Track and report ongoing volunteer hours.
- Coordinate employee recognition through shoutouts and branded items.
- Conduct six‑month check‑ins with new hires to promote the internal volunteer program.
- Manage gift shop inventory and maintain accurate stock levels.
- Order merchandise and supplies as needed.
- Train and schedule gift shop volunteers.
- Create and maintain attractive product displays in gift shop.
- Set pricing, oversee sales transactions and deposits for gift shop.
- Assist in monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
- Enter donor and volunteer data into online database.
- Assist with planning and execution of foundation events.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for foundation activities.
- Schedule and prepare for quarterly foundation meetings.
- Generate and distribute annual tax receipts for donors.
- Assist with planning and hosting the annual Volunteer Luncheon.
- Develop strategies to celebrate and recognize volunteers.
- Research and identify a volunteer platform for improved management.
- Coordinate exterior hospital beautification.
- Prepare and distribute mailers and promotional materials.
- Manage distribution of shirts, bags, and other branded items.
- Assist in coordinating Employee Engagement events.
- Attend and participate in departmental meetings / in‑services, BH quality improvement program, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- GED or High School Diploma
EXPERIENCE:
- Coordination of multiple projects, including planning and organization.
- Inventory management and retail procedures.
- Building and promoting relationships.
- Proactive problem solving while working independently.
CERTIFICATE, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Serv Safe within 6 months of hire.
