Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (OB/L&D) – Nebraska

$2551 Weekly / 36 hours

Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct labor and delivery nursing care to obstetric patients on-site.
  • Monitor maternal-fetal status and respond to obstetric emergencies promptly.
  • Demonstrate continuous professional development through certifications and skills enhancement.
  • Meet or exceed performance targets through efficient patient flow and pipeline management.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to develop care plans.
  • Document labor progress and patient outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.
  • Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, pain management and postnatal care.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours coverage as required.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
Experience / Qualifications
  • Active RN license in Nebraska with OB/L&D certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of labor & delivery nursing experience.
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications; willing to maintain ongoing education.
  • Proven ability to monitor maternal-fetal status and respond to emergencies.
  • Experience with electronic health records and accurate documentation.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary staff.
  • Demonstrated patient and family education skills on labor, delivery, and postnatal care.
  • Ability to meet performance targets and manage patient flow efficiently.
  • On-call availability and after-hours coverage as required.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
