Rotating shifts: 07:00–19:30, 11:00–23:30, 19:00–07:30. Every other weekend is required.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in a Level II Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in a trauma environment and be proficient in various emergency nursing procedures.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to patients experiencing a range of emergency medical conditions.
- Monitor and manage patients’ vital signs, administer medications and treatments, and perform emergency procedures as necessary.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary support team including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
- Assist in triage and prioritization of patient care in a fast‑paced environment.
- Implement safety protocols and isolation precautions to manage infections and prevent abuse.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS.
- Trauma Level I or Level II experience is preferred.
- Active RN license is required.
- Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred.
