DescriptionThis position offers a rewarding experience in Med/Surg, Swing Bed (Skilled), and ER patient flow. The RN/LPN will provide comprehensive nursing care in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies.
Hours / Days- Day Shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
- Full‑time: 3 shifts per week | Part‑time: 2 shifts per week
- Every 3rd weekend rotation required
- Holiday rotation required

ExpectationsRN/LPN will be responsible for Med/Surg, Swing Bed (Skilled), and ER patient flow. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications must be obtained within one year of employment if not already held.

Position SummaryThe primary duty and responsibilities of the nurse include using current nursing standards, identifying and intervening in health problems, maintaining health status, preventing illness, injury or infirmity, improving health, and providing supportive or restorative care through assessment and execution of nursing care and diagnostic or therapeutic regimens as prescribed.
Essential Job Functions- Deliver nursing care utilizing standards of clinical nursing practice.
- Collect and assess objective and subjective patient health data through observations, examinations, interviews and written records.
- Establish nursing diagnoses, goals, outcomes, and individualized plans of care.
- Prescribe and implement nursing interventions to accomplish care plans.
- Utilize ongoing assessment to revise diagnoses and care plans as needed.
- Provide supportive care to patients, families, and significant others.
- Demonstrate competency in nursing skills, policies, and procedures.
- Delegate tasks appropriately based on patient needs and staff competency.
Associate’s Degree or higher in Nursing.
Licensure and Certifications- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in Nebraska.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Collaborative communication and teamwork.
- Clear written, verbal, and reading communication in English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Internet applications.
- Ability to interpret complex healthcare laws and regulations.
- Basic arithmetic and calculation of rates, ratios, and medication dosages.
- Analytical problem‑solving skills and data interpretation.
- Work cooperatively with staff and interdisciplinary teams.
- Punctual and reliable attendance; adherence to scheduling policies.
- Proactive attitude toward change, continuous education, and special projects.
- Responsive to constructive feedback and incident reporting.
- Professional appearance and courteous patient interaction.
