Travel Nurse RN - Long Term Care; LTC Long Term Care

Job Overview

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking an RN for a long‑term care travel nursing position in Red Cloud, Nebraska. The assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts.

As an RN in Long‑Term Care, you will oversee and provide nursing care to residents with chronic illnesses, disabilities, or rehabilitation needs. You will coordinate care, supervise nursing staff, and work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to promote resident health and quality of life.

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes promptly
• Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs in daily care activities
• Provide wound care, catheter care, and other skilled nursing procedures
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and social workers
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in care plan meetings and family conferences
• Document nursing care and resident progress accurately and timely
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of experience in a Long‑Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
• Current BLS certification
• Eligibility for state licensure in Nebraska
• Additional certifications may be required prior to assignment

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
