Overview
Registered Nurse (ER) travel assignment in Hebron, Nebraska, United States.
Start date:
September 21, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,013–$2,043 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 5:00 PM–5:00 AM, 3 nights per week with weekend and holiday rotation. Setting: hospital-based emergency department.

Hospital ER travel assignment - Housing note:
Housing options may be limited; on-call rooms are limited and available upon request
- Provide direct nursing care for ED patients, including ongoing assessment, monitoring, and documentation of signs and symptoms; respond to changes in patient conditions
- Administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous) using barcode scanning in the electronic health system; monitor IV sites and discontinue IVs as ordered
- Assist in planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care as part of the nursing team; collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff
- Manage obstetrical care when competence permits; observe the obstetrical patient through labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care as applicable
- Maintain accurate records, transcribe orders, and ensure documentation complies with policies and HIPAA
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives, training, and orientation of new staff; uphold high standards of nursing practice
- Active RN license: current, valid license in the state of Nebraska
- Education:
graduate of an accredited school of nursing - Certifications:
current CPR, ACLS, TNCC, NRP, and STABLE certifications - Experience:
nursing experience in an acute/ER environment; strong communication skills - Availability: able to work night shift (5:00 PM–5:00 AM) with weekend and holiday rotations; able to commit to a 13-week travel assignment
- Eligibility for travel nursing and ability to work in a hospital/ER environment
- Housing options may be limited; on-call rooms are limited and available upon request
- Onsite and travel-related credentialing and onboarding support through the staffing organization
- Assignment coordination and general travel support from the staffing team
