- Orientation completed as required by supervisor
- Assess patients presenting for emergency care and triage based on history, physical assessment, and chief complaint
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for acutely ill and/or critically ill patients
- Administer prescribed therapies, including medications, intravenous fluids, and blood products; monitor ongoing treatments
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot specialized medical equipment
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely, quality patient care
- Document care concisely and accurately in the appropriate formats; maintain HIPAA compliance
- Registered Nurse license: active, full, unrestricted in the United States
- Education:
degree from an accredited professional nursing program (CCNE-accredited); bachelor’s or higher preferred - Licensure/Certification: must hold current certifications or be willing to obtain ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, and CPR
- Experience:
minimum 2 years of professional nursing, ER experience preferred (at least 1 year) - Language/communication: ability to read, write, and speak English fluently; strong written and verbal communication skills
- Physical/functional: ability to perform normal to heavy work, including lifting 20–50 lbs, standing, walking, and operating clinical equipment
- Work eligibility: able to work in an ER environment and comply with required regulatory and clinical standards
- Assignment-specific support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC, including credentialing assistance
- Orientation provided as required by the supervisor
- Ongoing travel and placement support from a dedicated team
- Scheduling coordination and payroll processing support
- Access to compliance resources and documentation help
