LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Night Shift

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Provide professional nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision.
• Assess residents, administer medications and treatments as ordered, and evaluate resident data.
• Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively in emergent situations.
• Ensure residents' health, comfort, and safety while documenting interactions and outcomes.
• Support healthcare professionals, communicate effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
• Counsel residents and families on prevention and treatment plans, and develop self-care programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing practice.

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program; associate degree preferred.
• Valid unencumbered LPN license with state nursing board or multi-state licensure.
• Experience in clinical settings, including supervised clinical hours or minimum 400 hours as an LPN.
• For IV therapy, completion of approved training or courses as required by the state.
• Required continuing education and competency certifications, with ability to work within interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication skills, attention to confidentiality, and ability to work effectively with residents and healthcare staff.
