Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Packagers receive finished parts and visually inspect them for major defaults or nonconformities. Parts are then marked per planner or customer specifications and are passed to Quality for inspection. Once approved, the Packager packs the part(s) according to specifications and ensures that packaging meets inspector approval. The parts are then set aside for shipping.
Prepare and perform packaging as required by customer and in-house specifications. (bags, bubble wrap, foam, etc.)
Complete proper documentation for each manufactured part.
Identify and package completed parts, per customer specifications.
Mark all parts prior to final inspection.
Receive approval from an inspector prior to shipping the parts.
File paperwork in appropriate places.
Maintain a regular and reliable schedule as set by the supervisor according to handbook guidelines.
Abid by all safety, quality, personnel, and other policies as applicable.
Marginal Work Requirements:
Perform other duties as assigned for the good of the department and company.
Specification testing per customer and certification requirements.
Be actively engaged in the department's 6S program and complete all necessary paperwork.

Computer
Skills:
Must be able to use common office software systems, computer operations relative to data entry and ERP system.
Certificates and Licenses:
Royal forklift certification required.
