Lab Technician – Seed Testing & Quality Assurance
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
Thursday
- Monday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. or 7:00am - 4:45P (40+ hours per week; evenings and weekends may be required)

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Lab Technician to join our team. This role is focused on seed plating and testing to ensure product quality and suitability for our processes. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable working in a structured laboratory environment, and capable of meeting physical and technical demands. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform seed plating and testing procedures to evaluate quality, viability, and process suitability.
- Collect, analyze, and accurately enter data into company systems for quality assurance and compliance reporting.
- Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Interpret and follow laboratory and production practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in testing outcomes.
- Support additional tasks as required to meet operational needs.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Basic math, computer, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret laboratory and production instructions.
- Capability to routinely lift up to 60 lbs.
- Valid driver's license.
- Preferred but not required:
- Forklift experience.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy, Biological Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in laboratory, agricultural, or seed testing environments.
