This position is responsible for preparing and serving coffee and other beverages in a timely manner while providing exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers. This role is open for PRN applicants and includes Saturdays.

• Welcome customers and determine their coffee interests and needs.
• Educate customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu and answering questions.
• Prepare and sell coffee drinks according to prescribed recipes and preparation techniques (e.g., espresso, latte, cappuccino, frappuccino).
• Keep equipment operational by following operating instructions and inspecting for repairs to ensure proper operation.
• Generate revenue by attracting new customers; market seasonal promotions and new franchise product lines.
• Maintain inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply, restocking brewing equipment, and supplies; prepare orders for food distributor and franchise supplies.
• Follow departmental standards and state/federal food codes.
• Operate cash register and understand proper cash handling procedures.
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings, in-services, and Brodstone Healthcare quality improvement program.

• GED or high school diploma (preferred).
• Retail, food service, or barista experience (preferred).
• Serve Safe certification within 6 months of hire (required).
