At Emerald Nursing & Rehab Cozad, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Evening Shift Cook to join our culinary team. As a trusted provider of Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Nursing Facility services, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support to our elderly residents. • Prepare and cook a variety of meals for our residents, including evening meals, snacks, and special dietary needs
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with our dietary staff to plan and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of our residents
• Manage food inventory and ordering, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet the demands of our menu
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure that our kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen or healthcare setting preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening shifts and weekends
• Excellent culinary skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
