Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for a friendly, dependable, and service-minded Server to join our dining team at Hillcrest Silver Ridge in Gretna, NE.

Hillcrest Silver Ridge is a welcoming senior living community where residents receive personalized support while maintaining as much independence, choice, and connection as possible. Our team creates a warm, respectful environment where residents feel known, valued, and at home.

Inspiring people to live their best lives. As a Server, you will help create a positive dining experience by providing friendly service, supporting a pleasant dining room environment, and helping residents feel cared for during every meal.

As a Server
, you will support dining room service while helping ensure meals are served in a professional, timely, and welcoming manner.

You will:

• Greet residents and guests with warmth, professionalism, and respect.
• Take meal orders and communicate orders clearly to the cook or chef.
• Serve meals in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
• Assist the cook or chef with meal preparation support as needed.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and pleasant dining room environment.
• Clear, sanitize, and reset tables efficiently.
• Wash dishes, silverware, glasses, and other dining items as needed.
• Vacuum dining areas, including spot cleaning as needed.
• Wash, dry, fold, and store linens.
• Sanitize and refill condiment containers.
• Wrap silverware and assist with dining room setup.
• Prepare the daily menu board for the following day.
• Support culinary, health services, housekeeping, residents, families, and team members with kindness and professionalism.

We are looking for someone who enjoys serving others, notices the details, and understands how important mealtime is to the resident experience.

The right candidate will be friendly, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dining environment while maintaining a positive and respectful approach.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Previous serving, dining room, restaurant, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A friendly, patient, and respectful approach with residents and families.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• A team-first mindset and willingness to assist where needed.
• Comfort using technology and resources efficiently and effectively.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous dining service, food service, restaurant, hospitality, or senior living experience preferred.

Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

Must be able to independently lift up to 35 pounds.

Must be able to perform repetitive sitting, bending, standing, walking, reaching, and movement as needed.

Must be flexible, calm, and professional in stressful situations.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

Must be able to utilize technology, dining supplies, and resources efficiently and effectively.

Possible exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.

Other duties as assigned.
