Japanese Restaurant - Waiter

Company Overview

The client operates a Japanese restaurant located near Somerset MRT on Orchard Road, offering authentic dining experiences with a focus on quality food and customer service.

You will take orders, serve food and beverages, handle payments, and maintain a clean dining environment to ensure excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced Japanese restaurant.

• Take customers' orders accurately and serve food and beverages promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
• Clear, tidy, and clean tables efficiently to maintain a welcoming dining area
• Issue bills and handle payments accurately to ensure smooth transaction processes
• Recommend food and beverage items to customers to enhance their dining experience
• Assist with monthly stocktaking of food and beverage inventory to support inventory management
• Perform daily closing of sales and verify cash till to ensure accuracy of daily transactions
• Carry out other ad-hoc duties as required to support restaurant operations

• Previous waitress or service experience in a Japanese restaurant to facilitate familiarity with menu and customer expectations
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Chinese to interact with diverse customers and team members
• Japanese language ability will be an advantage for better communication with Japanese-speaking customers
• Friendly, confident, and persuasive interpersonal skills to engage customers positively
• Initiative and responsibility to work independently and handle tasks proactively
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment to meet operational demands

• Salary: $2,200 – $2,800/month, depending on experience
• Working Hours:
  
  4.00pm – 12.00am
• Working Days: 6 days per week, with 1 day off on a rotating basis
