Customer Service Rep - Part Time

Part Time, Waverly, NE, US

Shift: First Day | Second Afternoon | Third Night

Store Manager

Position Summary

As a Cubby’s CSR, customer service is our number one priority. Our CSRs are not just cashiers; they greet customers warmly, get to know them, give them the feeling of importance, move quickly to provide fast service, suggest products when appropriate, thank customers for their business, and invite them back.

Additional Responsibilities (Housekeeping)
  • Clean and housekeeping inside restrooms: floors, toilet, sink, mirror, walls, and ceiling cleaned and odor free; soap, towels, and toilet paper stocked.
  • Empty trash cans, keep them clean, and ensure bags are tucked out of sight.
  • Sweep and mop floors; keep free of trash, spills, and stains.
  • Clean coolers, doors and shelves, free of stains and spills.
  • Sweep and keep rugs free of trash.
  • Keep the transaction counter clean and organized.
  • Keep shelves clean and dust free.
  • Ensure fast food area equipment and prep area are clean and organized.
  • Keep back office and cooler neat and organized.
  • Maintain coffee and fountain area clean, free of spills and trash.
  • Keep merchandise clean and dust free.
  • Outside cleaning: sweep parking lot; keep free of trash, oil, gas spots, cigarette butts, and weeds.
  • Clean windows and doors; keep no faded or unauthorized signs.
  • Keep entrance sidewalk clean, stain and trash free.
  • Keep exterior trash cans clean, not overflowing, and bags tucked.
  • Clean fuel islands: dispensers and nozzles, keep squeegees and towels on all islands, windshield buckets full.
  • Sweep inside the car wash.
  • Stock front and face all merchandise.
  • Stock ice bag if necessary.
  • Price all merchandised items.
  • Front cooler and label faced.
  • Stock fountain, cooler, and freezer.
  • Brew coffee.
  • Ensure no out of date merchandise.
  • Move and build displays.
  • Maintain proper cigarette display; products priced.
  • Stock lottery supplies and cigarettes.

Professional Image
  • Maintain proper uniform and name tag at all times.
  • No gossiping or profanity.
  • Proper hygiene: showered, clean shaved, clean hair, no body odor, clean uniform, fresh breath, clean fingernails.
  • Cell phone usage limited to emergency calls only, no text or non‑emergency calls while on duty.
Position Requirements
  • Physically fit; able to lift, bend and stand up to eight hours.
  • Ability to balance on step stool or ladder.
  • Comfortable working in a 32–degree temperature cooler.
  • Able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Capable of basic math.
  • Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English; can communicate with customers in English.
