ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Greet customers on the sales floor, assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to the parts specialist if hard parts are needed. Check customers in, price items, and put up stock. Keep the display floor fronted, full, and clean daily. Make display changes according to company guidelines and planograms. Update front‑end price changes, ensure sale signs are in place, stock sale flyer rack, maintain sufficient quantity of sale merchandise on display, remove sale material after sale ends, restore original pricing.
Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, overstock returns, and complete store To‑Do List and Team Weekly tasks with the manager. Act as main shop‑lifting deterrent and front‑floor security. Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities. Clock in/out according to company policy.
Cashier:
Check out customers purchasing front floor merchandise quickly and friendly. Handle merchandise returns efficiently. Assist customers with tickets, money, checks, credit cards when express lane is not available and counter busy.
- Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences, excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
- Previous cashier and/or stocking experience desired.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
