Sales Associate – Customer Service

• Serve customers in a professional, quick, and courteous manner
• Greet customers in a friendly manner
• Operate the POS system and process sales quickly and accurately
• Make change properly and use credit card equipment
• Open and close shifts, including completing paperwork
• Stock and price store items correctly
• Check in vendor deliveries and assist with ordering
• Understand fuel inventory reports
• Clean and sanitize equipment and perform simple maintenance
• Maintain a neat and clean store inside and outside
• Recognize problems and report them to management
• Handle, cook, store, rotate, code-date, and temperature-test food products
• Comply with food handling guidelines and state/federal regulations
• Ensure a clean and healthy food service environment
• Report for scheduled work on time with regular and consistent attendance
• Assist with other duties as assigned

• Retail or guest service experience preferred
• Able to work the POS system efficiently
• Ability to read, write, and perform math skills
• Must possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude
• Must be flexible and able to adapt to change
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills
• Must be well groomed and properly attired
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and any shift needed
• Must have reliable transportation and phone
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service
• Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Must stand for long periods of time and frequently walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear
• May occasionally need to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Demonstrates strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and efficiency in a retail environment. Proficient in operating POS systems and adhering to food handling guidelines while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
