Business Development Manager - AutoNation Mazda Arapahoe

The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new business and lead the Future of Automotive Retail at Auto Nation.

• Develop pipeline of sales and business opportunity leads through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
• Work with the sales department to develop sales strategies and techniques.
• Increase market share by developing new opportunities at target accounts through proactive sales activities within the local metropolitan market.
• Continually expand business relationships through networking activities and ensure customers' expectations are met throughout the process.
• Recruit and manage Business Development Associates and/or Sales Associates, hiring, training, motivating, counseling, and monitoring performance.
• Consistently strive to improve phone skills and product knowledge; conduct training as necessary.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in sales or marketing, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Extensive customer service, sales, or telemarketing experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and communicate information effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi‑task.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Strong computer skills.
• Annual salary up to $100,000.
