Business Development Executive​/Manager (IBC)

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive/Manager to drive sales growth for our Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC) products and packaging solutions. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build long-term customer relationships, and expand our presence across industries such as chemicals, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, agriculture, and logistics.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for IBC containers and related packaging solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial agreements.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with customers.
• Work closely with the operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical product recommendations based on customers' storage and transportation requirements.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and site visits when required.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to closing deals and after-sales support.
• Attend trade exhibitions, industry events, and networking activities to generate new business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, customer records, and pipeline updates in the CRM system.
• Monitor customer feedback and market developments to identify opportunities for product improvement and business expansion.

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4–7 years of experience in business development or sales within the industrial packaging, plastic products, logistics, chemical, manufacturing, or related industries.
• Experience selling Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC), drums, pallets, industrial packaging, or similar products is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

• Ability to understand customer operational requirements and recommend suitable packaging solutions.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and business development activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

• Experience with rigid plastic packaging, reusable containers, industrial packaging, or logistics equipment.
• Existing network within the chemical, food processing, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, oil & gas, agriculture, or logistics sectors.
• Knowledge of UN-certified packaging, hazardous goods handling, and relevant industry regulations.
