Gate Attendant

Overview

Per Mar Security, an industry leader in providing integrated security solutions, has been serving the Midwest since 1953. We are looking for hardworking, motivated individuals to join our team of more than 2,600 professionals across 25 locations.

• Attend the gate and provide access control for customers entering and leaving the back lot.
• Verify the accuracy of orders picked up by customers at departure.
• Inspect vehicles as they enter the premises and document any existing items.
• Monitor the premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule violations.
• Walk the yard twice per shift and report suspicious activities or criminal acts.
• Address individuals engaging in suspicious or criminal conduct.
• Request emergency personnel for high‑risk situations.

• High School Diploma or GED. State Security Officer License required.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record. Technical training or college education in a related field preferred.
• Previous experience as a security officer preferred.
• Must embody Per Mar Security values:

M-F: $19.00/HR SAT‑SUN: $20.00/HR
